Welcome to My Voice Blox

Some of y’all asked me recently – is “blox” is a misspelling?

It does look like it, doesn’t it?

But, no, I did that for a reason. Let me explain.

I love wordplay. The sillier, the better. It always gives me a great chuckle every time I see one.

The term, My Voice Blox, encompasses two words/phrases: larynx (aka. “my voice box”), and “blog”. So,

My Voice Box + Blog = My Voice Blog/Box = My Voice “Blox”

I hope that makes sense for you, and – if you appreciate the wordplay – gives you a nice laugh.

Hi, I'm Crystal!

I am a singer, voice teacher, and vocal health advocate. I help my fellow singers understand what is LPR, and empower YOU by sharing any resources that worked for me as a classically-trained soprano. I live in West Michigan with my husband TJ (and maybe a fur child in the future!).  I am a huge cold brew lover – so much that I make my own! One food I cannot live without is kimchi!
